Hama 00205212 koaksialstik 2 stk.

The Hama 00205212 coaxial connector is a compact adapter with two male coaxial connectors designed to join coaxial cables or adapt connections between audio‑video equipment. Supplied as a pack of two, the white connector body is intended for household and professional AV setups where a secure, metal-to-metal coaxial contact is required for signal continuity and minimal loss.

Advantages

This coaxial connector offers a straightforward push-fit design that enables quick connection of two coaxial cables without tools. Its metal contact surfaces ensure reliable electrical conductivity and stable signal transmission for TV, satellite, or radio installations. The compact white housing provides neat visual integration into home entertainment systems and reduces the need to replace an entire cable when only a connector interface is needed.

Suitable for

• Extending or joining coaxial cables in home TV and satellite systems
• Connecting tuners, set-top boxes, DVD/Blu-ray players and TVs
• Temporary or permanent repairs of damaged coaxial cable ends
• Radio and FM aerial connections where male-to-male coupling is required

Key specifications

• Connector type: male coaxial to male coaxial
• Quantity in pack: 2 pieces
• Housing colour: white
• Contact material: metal conductive contacts for coaxial signal
• Typical applications: audio/video signal transmission, RF connections

How to use

Align each male coaxial connector with the female end of the cable or device connector and push firmly until the metal contacts seat. Ensure connectors are fully engaged to maintain optimal signal transfer and avoid intermittent reception. For cable repair, prepare the cable end according to the cable type, then insert the prepared conductor into the connector following the manufacturer's recommended fit. No special tools are required for basic coupling, though a cable stripper may be needed to prepare cable ends.

Recommendations

Use indoor or sheltered installations to prevent prolonged exposure to moisture and extreme temperatures which can degrade contact performance. For best results, check connections periodically and replace connectors if corrosion or loose fit appears. Keep spare connectors from the pack available for quick replacement during equipment changes or routine maintenance.
