HDD/SSD-kabinet Transcend TS0GSJ25CK3

Transcend's HDD/SSD Enclosure TS0GSJ25CK3 lets you reuse a 2.5" SATA notebook drive as an external portable storage device. The kit includes a grey 2.5-inch enclosure with rubber outer case and inner shock absorber, a SATA adapter, Micro-USB to USB Type-A cable, a 7mm-to-9.5mm spacer, a PH1 screwdriver and three M2 mounting screws. It supports one 2.5" Serial ATA III drive and is designed for compact, on-the-go data transfer and backup.

Advantages

The enclosure provides shock-absorbing rubber protection and a spacer to accommodate both 7mm and 9.5mm drives, reducing vibration during transport. The kit contains all necessary tools and mounting hardware for straightforward installation. A one-touch backup function is available when using Transcend Elite software for quick file synchronization.

Suitable for

• Reusing a 2.5" SATA laptop HDD or SSD as external storage
• Portable data transfer between computers
• Creating quick external backups with one-touch sync

Key specifications

• Supported drives: 1 × 2.5" (Serial ATA III)
• USB versions: USB 2.0 / USB 3.2 Gen 1 (3.1 Gen 1)
• USB connectors: Micro-USB and USB Type-A
• Material and colour: Grey rubber
• Weight: 0.108 kg

How to use

Remove the 2.5" drive from your notebook and fit it into the included SATA adapter. If your drive is 7mm high, insert the 2.5mm spacer so the drive sits securely in the inner rubber shock absorber. Place the assembly into the outer rubber case, secure with the provided M2 screws using the PH1 screwdriver, then connect the enclosure to a computer using the Micro-USB to USB Type-A cable. The drive will appear as an external USB storage device for file access.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use the Transcend Elite software for the one-touch backup feature and ensure the drive is mounted firmly to avoid movement. Avoid exposing the enclosure to excessive moisture or strong impacts despite its rubber protection.
