HDMI-adapter HDMI-A-stik - stik ACT AP1005

The ACT HDMI adapter HDMI-A female - female (AP1005) is a compact coupling device that joins two standard HDMI A male cables to extend an HDMI connection. It has two HDMI A female connectors and a black housing with internal foil shielding to maintain signal integrity for audio and video transmission.

Advantages

The adapter provides a straightforward solution to extend existing HDMI cables without replacing them. Built-in internal foil shielding reduces interference and helps preserve signal quality. Its compact black design fits unobtrusively into home theater, gaming, or AV setups and supports standard HDMI A connections for broad compatibility.

Suitable for

• Extending HDMI runs between TV and set-top box
• Connecting gaming consoles to displays when cables are short
• Joining HDMI cables in AV racks or home theater systems

How to use

Insert the male end of each HDMI cable firmly into the adapter’s HDMI A female ports until they click or feel secure. Position the adapter so cables are not sharply bent at the connection points. After connecting, verify the display and audio output on your source and sink devices to ensure the extended connection is functioning.

Recommendations

For best results use good-quality HDMI cables and avoid chaining multiple adapters or very long cable runs that may degrade signal quality. Keep the connection area free from strong electromagnetic sources to minimise interference.
