HP CN598-67018 printer/scanner reservedel/tilbehør separatorpude

The HP CN598-67018 separation pad is a replacement feed component developed for use in compatible HP multifunction printers. Designed to assist with reliable paper separation, this pad helps prevent multi-feed and misfeeds, supporting consistent paper handling in high-volume office environments. The part is produced in neutral tones (black, grey and white) and suited to periodic maintenance or service operations on devices specified by HP.

Advantages

The separation pad offers durable construction intended to maintain friction performance over extended use, reducing the frequency of feed errors and service interruptions. By restoring consistent sheet separation, it helps sustain print run efficiency and reduces downtime associated with paper jams. Its form factor and materials are chosen to match OEM performance expectations for compatible HP models.

Suitable for

• Routine maintenance and part replacement in compatible HP OfficeJet Pro X451dn and X476dw multifunction printers
• Repair tasks to resolve frequent multi-feed or paper jam issues
• Office environments with moderate to high printing volumes requiring reliable paper handling

Key specifications

• Function: paper separation / feed pad for multifunction printers
• Compatibility: designed for specific HP OfficeJet Pro X451dn and X476dw series models (refer to printer service manual for exact fit)
• Color: black, grey and white components
• Material: wear-resistant friction surface intended for repeated sheet contact
• Application environment: office and small business multifunction printers

How to use

Install the separation pad according to the printer’s service instructions or maintenance manual. Power off the printer and disconnect it from the power source before accessing the paper feed assembly. Remove the paper input tray and any covers necessary to reach the existing pad, extract the worn pad carefully, and fit the replacement in the same orientation. Reassemble the feed components and test feed by running a few sheets of the paper types commonly used in the device to confirm correct separation and feeding.

Recommendations

For reliable results, replace the separation pad when print runs show increased multi-feeds or jams. Use genuine or manufacturer-specified parts and follow safe handling practices: avoid contaminating the pad surface with oils or debris, and handle with clean hands or gloves. If issues persist after replacement, consult the printer service documentation or a certified technician to check related feed rollers and alignment settings.
