Hulsav Dedra HW4082, skærediameter 82 mm

Stand-alone hole saw Dedra HW4082 with an 82 mm cutting diameter, designed to make precise circular openings in materials compatible with hole saws. The tool is suitable for workshop and on-site use and mounts to standard drill arbors. It is intended for tasks such as installing pipes, fittings and cable pass-throughs and produces a clean round cut when used with an appropriate arbor and drill.

Advantages

The Dedra HW4082 hole saw offers an 82 mm cutting diameter that enables standardized openings for common pipe sizes and fixtures. Its construction is focused on stable cutting performance and compatibility with standard arbors, which simplifies mounting and replacement. The saw provides a precise circular cut and is suitable for repeated use where correct arbor selection and drill speed are observed.

Suitable for

• Cutting circular openings in wood for pipe and conduit installation
• Making pass-through holes for cable routing in wooden panels and soft plastics
• Creating holes for light fixtures, ventilation grilles or plumbing fittings
• Workshop and on-site drilling tasks using compatible drill arbors

Key specifications

• Cutting diameter: 82 mm
• Tool type: stand-alone hole saw (cup saw)
• Intended materials: wood, soft plastics, and compatible non-hardened metals depending on blade type
• Mounting: fits standard drill arbor attachments
• Typical applications: pipe and fitting installation, cable pass-throughs, fixture openings

How to use

Attach the hole saw to a compatible arbor and secure the arbor into a drill with sufficient power and speed control. Mark the center point of the intended hole and, if available, use a pilot bit to stabilize the saw during initial engagement. Begin drilling at low speed to establish the cut, then increase speed as appropriate for the material and keep steady pressure. Use coolant or periodic pauses when cutting heat-sensitive materials. After cutting, remove the slug from the saw’s cup and inspect the edge for burrs; deburr the hole if required.

Recommendations

Use appropriate safety equipment (eye protection, gloves) and select drill speed and arbor type according to the workpiece material. Avoid excessive feed pressure and prolonged continuous cutting in metal without proper cooling. For the best results in non-wood materials, verify blade suitability and consider a lubricated or cooled cut.
