InLine 27626C Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) kabel 0,75 m sort

InLine 27626C is a Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) internal cable with Mini SAS HD (SFF-8643) connectors on both ends. With a length of 750 mm and angled plugs on both sides, this cable is designed for connecting SAS-compatible controllers, drive backplanes and internal drives in rack or desktop storage systems. It supports high-speed data transfer and is intended for internal use where a compact, reliable SAS connection is required.

Advantages

The cable features Mini SAS HD connectors on both ends and angled plugs to simplify routing in confined chassis and reduce strain on connector positions. Its 750 mm length provides flexibility for typical server and workstation layouts while remaining compact. The construction supports the multi-lane SAS interface for high throughput and is suitable for installations that require an internal SAS link with stable electrical characteristics and low profile routing.

How to use

Route the InLine 27626C cable inside the chassis between the Mini SAS HD ports on the controller and the corresponding connector on the backplane or drive assembly. Ensure both mating connectors are aligned before engaging the plugs and apply even pressure until the connectors seat. Use cable routing channels or ties to secure the cable and prevent contact with hot components or moving parts. Confirm that the angled plugs are oriented to avoid kinking and to maintain appropriate bend radius for the cable.

Recommendations

Before installation, power down the system and follow ESD precautions. Verify that both devices support Mini SAS HD (SFF-8643) interfaces and SAS lane speeds up to 12 Gb/s. Avoid tight bends near the connector area and secure the cable to chassis anchors to reduce mechanical stress. After connecting, perform a storage controller or RAID utility check to confirm link negotiation and stable operation.
