InLine fladt patchkabel, U/FTP, Cat.6A, grå, 2 m

The InLine Flat patch cable U/FTP Cat.6A grey 2m is a 2-meter twisted-pair network cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends designed for high-speed Ethernet connections. Constructed with U/FTP shielding and a flat profile, this Cat.6A cable aims to support reliable data transmission while fitting into narrow spaces and reduced bend-radius routing. The grey jacket provides a neutral appearance suitable for home, office, and rack installations.

Advantages

U/FTP shielding around the twisted pairs helps reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, improving signal integrity for high-bandwidth applications. The flat cable design allows for convenient routing under carpets, along skirting boards, or in tight cable channels where round cables may be impractical. Both ends terminate in standard RJ-45 connectors to ensure compatibility with switches, routers, network interface cards, and patch panels that accept Cat6A-rated connections.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet connections (Gigabit and 10 Gigabit over short distances)
• Desk-to-wall or wall-to-patch-panel connections where a flat cable is preferable
• Installations requiring reduced cable profile under flooring or in narrow conduits
• Office and home networking where a neutral grey cable finish is desired

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.6A (augmented Category 6)
• Shielding: U/FTP (overall unshielded with individually foil-shielded twisted pairs)
• Length: 2 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Grey
• Form factor: Flat cable profile for low-profile routing

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network device (for example a switch, router or PC) and the other RJ-45 connector to the corresponding port on your network equipment or patch panel. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure connection. Route the flat cable along the chosen path, avoiding sharp folds and excessive tension. When running the cable close to sources of strong electromagnetic fields, maintain recommended separation distances to preserve signal integrity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat.6A U/FTP cable for short to medium runs and ensure both endpoints support the required Ethernet speeds. Avoid tight bends at the connector ends and secure the cable with non-compressive cable clips or adhesive guides to prevent deformation of the flat profile.
