InLine fladt patchkabel, U/FTP, Cat.6A, grå, 3 m

The InLine Flat patch cable U/FTP Cat.6A grey 3m is a flat-profile Ethernet patch lead designed for high-speed wired networks. Constructed to Cat.6A performance with U/FTP shielding, this 3 meter cable uses RJ-45 connectors on both ends and is intended for reliable data transmission with reduced crosstalk and external interference. The slim grey jacket and flat cross-section allow routing under carpets, along skirting boards, or through narrow gaps without bulky cable bends.

Advantages

The U/FTP shielding combination helps minimise alien crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, supporting stable Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet links where cables are routed in close proximity. The flat design reduces cable height for easier passage through limited spaces and provides a neater appearance when laid along walls or floors. Standard RJ-45 terminations on both ends ensure compatibility with network switches, routers, computers and patch panels. The 3 m length offers a practical reach for typical desk-to-switch connections.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktops, laptops and network devices to office switches
• Routing beneath carpets or along skirting boards where space is constrained
• Home and small office network installations requiring Cat.6A performance
• Temporary or permanent workstation cabling with a discreet profile

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.6A (augmented)
• Shielding: U/FTP (overall unshielded with individually foiled pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Length: 3 m
• Profile: flat design for low height routing
• Colour: grey

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network device and the other to the switch, router or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until you hear the locking clip engage. When routing the cable, follow straight lines where possible and avoid tight folds; the flat profile allows pulling the cable under carpets or along skirting but avoid sharp creases. For permanent installations, secure the cable with low-profile clips or adhesive cable channels to prevent movement and wear.

Recommendations

Use this Cat.6A U/FTP flat cable where high-speed connections and space-saving routing are required. Maintain reasonable bend radii and keep the cable clear of strong electromagnetic sources such as large transformers to preserve signal integrity. For runs longer than 3 m or in environments with heavy interference, consider shielded fixed cabling or longer Cat.6A patch leads as appropriate.
