InLine fladt patchkabel U/FTP Cat.6A sort 3 m

The InLine Flat Patch Cable U/FTP Cat.6A black 3m is a 3 metre flat Ethernet cable engineered for high-speed data transmission in confined spaces. It uses U/FTP (unshielded overall with foiled twisted pairs) shielding to reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, and is terminated with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Its low-profile, black flat design makes it suitable for discreet routing along walls, under carpets or behind furniture while maintaining Cat6A performance for gigabit and multi-gigabit networks.

Advantages

The flat construction allows for flexible installation in narrow gaps and along edges without creating bulky cable runs. U/FTP shielding around each pair improves signal integrity compared with unshielded cables, helping to maintain higher data rates and reduce errors in congested environments. RJ-45 terminations ensure broad compatibility with network equipment and the black outer jacket provides a neutral, unobtrusive appearance for residential and office setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches, routers and networked devices in home and office networks
• Running cabling under carpets, along skirting boards or behind furniture where a flat profile is needed
• Wiring short-distance links requiring Cat6A performance for gigabit or multi-gigabit applications

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.6A
• Shielding type: U/FTP (foil around each twisted pair with overall sheath)
• Length: 3 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Design: flat profile
• Colour: black

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on your devices until it clicks into place. Route the flat patch cable along the intended path, securing with low-profile clips or tape where necessary to avoid tripping hazards. For best performance, avoid sharp bending at the connector ends and prevent excessive compression of the cable under heavy furniture or doorways. The cable is ready to use without additional tools or termination.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short to medium runs where Cat6A performance is required and where a flat profile benefits routing. Maintain gentle bend radii, keep the cable away from high-power electrical sources to minimise interference, and ensure both connected devices support the desired network speeds for optimal results.
