InLine LSA / LSA+ monteringsværktøj til massivkabelinstallation InLine 74200

The InLine LSA / LSA + Mounting Tool for solid cable installation (model 74200) is a handheld insertion and extraction tool designed to work with LSA termination modules. Constructed from metal and plastic, the tool performs two main functions: it terminates solid conductors into LSA modules while cutting off excess wire in a single operation, and it extracts termination modules or individual termination contacts from their housing brackets using dedicated blades.

Advantages

The tool combines termination and cutting in one movement, reducing assembly steps and ensuring consistent wire length after installation. A specialized blade enables removal of modules from their mounting brackets without damaging the housing, and a separate extractor blade allows easy removal of individual termination contacts and pull-out of wires. Its ergonomic shape and durable materials provide steady handling during repeated professional use.

How to use

Insert the solid conductor into the LSA module contact slot and position the module in its housing bracket. Use the mounting tool to press the conductor into the contact; the built-in cutting blade will remove the excess wire in the same operation. To remove a module from its bracket, engage the dedicated blade on the tool and lever the module free. For extracting a single termination contact or pulling a wire back out, switch to the extractor blade and gently pull the wire or contact until released. Follow standard safety procedures and ensure the cable is de-energized before working.

Recommendations

Use the tool with compatible LSA and LSA+ modules and only with solid conductors as intended. Keep blades clean and inspect the tool regularly for wear; replace if blades become dull or damaged. Store in a dry place to prevent corrosion of metal parts.
