InLine miniadapter 9-pin seriel han/hun

The InLine Mini Gender Changer 9 Pin serial male / female is a compact adapter that converts a 9-pin serial male connector to a female connector and vice versa. Constructed from stainless steel, it is intended to protect frequently used Sub D (9-pin) interfaces by taking the wear from repeated plug/unplug cycles while maintaining a reliable connection. The pack contains one piece.

Advantages

This mini gender changer provides a simple and space-saving way to change the connector gender on 9-pin serial interfaces. Its stainless steel construction offers durability and resistance to wear, and the adapter helps preserve the original device connector by acting as a replaceable interface. The small form factor makes it easy to install and carry.

Suitable for

• Converting a 9-pin serial (Sub D) male connector to female or female to male
• Protecting device ports that experience frequent cable changes
• Compact setups where space is limited behind equipment
• Temporary connections or field repairs

How to use

Ensure screws or fastening mechanisms on the Sub D connector are secured if present to maintain a stable connection.

Recommendations

Use the InLine Mini Gender Changer to prevent wear on device ports by connecting and disconnecting cables at the adapter rather than on the built-in connector. Inspect the adapter periodically for damage and replace it if contacts show signs of wear. Avoid excessive force when inserting or removing to preserve both adapter and device connectors.
