InLine patchkabel, Cat.6A, S/FTP, PE outdoor, sort, 7,5m

The InLine Patch cable Cat.6A S/FTP PE outdoor in black is a professional-grade LAN patch cable designed for outdoor network applications. It features double S/FTP shielding (pair in metal foil plus overall braid) and a UV-, oil- and water-resistant polyethylene (PE) jacket, supporting data rates up to 10 Gbps and a maximum frequency of 500 MHz for reliable transmissions in demanding environments.

Advantages

Double S/FTP shielding reduces crosstalk and electromagnetic interference, while RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts ensure stable signal transfer. The PE outer sheath provides protection against ultraviolet radiation, moisture and oils, making the cable suitable for installation in outdoor and industrial settings. The construction supports high-speed 10 Gigabit Ethernet and is compatible with Fast Ethernet and PoE/PoE+ systems.

Suitable for

• Outdoor IP video surveillance systems (including PoE/PoE+ cameras)
• Connections between switches, routers and network devices in outdoor or semi-outdoor installations
• Industrial network runs and data centre patching where outdoor-rated cabling is required

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.6A
• Shielding: S/FTP (each pair foil, overall braid)
• Maximum data rate: 10 Gbps
• Maximum frequency: 500 MHz
• Outer jacket: polyethylene (PE), UV-, oil- and water-resistant
• Connector: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 7.5 m
• Colour: black

How to use

Install the patch cable by plugging RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding ports of switches, routers, cameras or other network equipment. Ensure connectors are fully seated and that cable routing avoids sharp bends and mechanical stress. When used outdoors, route the cable to minimize prolonged exposure to standing water and secure it with appropriate outdoor-rated clips or conduits where necessary.

Recommendations

For best results in outdoor surveillance and PoE installations, maintain cable lengths within standard Ethernet recommendations, avoid tight bending radii, and protect terminations from direct weather exposure with junction boxes or weatherproof connectors.
