InLine patchkabel, Cat.6A, S/FTP, PE udendørs, sort, 10m

InLine Patch cable Cat.6A S/FTP PE outdoor black 10m is a professional outdoor LAN patch cable with double S/FTP shielding (PiMf) designed for demanding network environments. The cable has a UV-, oil- and water-resistant polyethylene (PE) jacket and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, supporting data rates up to 10 Gbps and a maximum frequency of 500 MHz. It is intended for outdoor installations including IP and PoE/PoE+ video surveillance systems and connects switches, routers, hubs, NICs and other active or passive network devices in industrial and professional settings.

Advantages

The cable provides Cat.6A performance with S/FTP (PiMf) shielding for improved protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Its PE outer jacket offers resistance to UV radiation, oils and moisture for reliable outdoor use. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs ensure stable contact and reduced corrosion risk. The 10 m length allows flexible placement between outdoor devices and indoor network equipment while supporting 10 Gigabit Ethernet and Fast Ethernet links.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Outdoor IP video surveillance systems with PoE/PoE+ cameras
• Connecting outdoor network devices to switches and routers
• Temporary or permanent outdoor network runs for events or sites
• Professional and industrial network infrastructure such as data centres and server farms (outdoor-to-indoor links)

How to use

Route the InLine Cat.6A S/FTP PE cable between the outdoor device and the indoor network equipment, avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension. Insert the RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding ports on cameras, switches, routers or other network devices until they click into place. For PoE/PoE+ deployments, ensure connected equipment supports the required power class and that connectors and seals are suitable for the installation environment. When running the cable outdoors, secure it with appropriate clips or conduits and maintain slack for thermal expansion.

Recommendations

For prolonged outdoor exposure, protect connector interfaces from direct water ingress and consider additional conduit or IP-rated housings at termination points; verify that PoE power levels and environmental conditions meet device specifications.
