InLine patchkabel F/UTP Cat.5e grå 1,5m

The InLine Patch Cable F/UTP Cat.5e grey 1.5m is a shielded Ethernet lead designed for stable wired network connections. With F/UTP construction and RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this 1.5 m cable reduces electromagnetic interference while supporting typical Cat5e performance for data, internet and LAN applications. The grey jacket provides a neutral appearance suitable for visible installation in home and office environments.

Advantages

F/UTP shielding helps minimise external electromagnetic and radio frequency interference, improving signal integrity in environments with nearby electrical equipment. The Cat.5e specification supports reliable data transmission at standard Ethernet speeds and is appropriate for most home and small-office networks. Molded RJ-45 connectors ensure a consistent, secure connection and simplify installation. The 1.5 m length offers a balance between flexibility and neat cable management in patching scenarios.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Connecting desktops, laptops or network printers to a router or switch
• Patch cabling between wall sockets and patch panels in small offices
• Short runs in home networks where reduced interference is desired
• Temporary or semi-permanent connections in server closets or AV setups

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.5e (F/UTP shielding)
• Length: 1.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Shielding: Foiled overall shield with unshielded twisted pairs (F/UTP)
• Colour: Grey jacket

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on devices such as a router, switch, network interface card or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages to maintain a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference; use cable clips or ties to keep runs tidy. For patch panel installations, insert and verify the connection on both ends before powering network equipment.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short-distance connections up to 1.5 m where a shielded Cat.5e link is sufficient. Avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines for extended lengths. For higher network speeds or future-proofing in demanding environments, consider using Cat6 or higher category shielded cables.
