InLine patchkabel F/UTP Cat.5e grå 10 m

The InLine Patch Cable F/UTP Cat.5e grey 10m is a 10-metre network cable designed for structured cabling and patching tasks. Compliant with the Cat5e specification, the cable supports reliable Ethernet data transmission for typical office and home networks. F/UTP shielding reduces external electromagnetic interference while RJ-45 connectors on both ends provide straightforward plug-and-play connectivity. The grey jacket identifies the cable visually and offers standard mechanical protection for everyday installations.

Advantages

F/UTP construction provides improved protection against crosstalk and external noise compared with unshielded alternatives, helping to maintain signal integrity over the full 10 m length. Cat.5e compliance ensures compatibility with common Ethernet speeds and network devices. The fitted RJ-45 plugs make the cable compatible with routers, switches, patch panels and network ports without additional adapters. The flexible outer jacket and standard connector strain relief simplify routing and reduce stress at termination points.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches and routers in small office or home networks
• Patch panel to switch connections in server cabinets and racks
• Temporary network setups for events, testing or troubleshooting
• Workstation cabling where moderate EMI protection is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.5e
• Shielding: Foiled with overall braid (F/UTP)
• Length: 10 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Outer colour: Grey
• Application: Ethernet networking and patching

How to use

Route the InLine Cat.5e patch cable between network devices, ensuring connectors are aligned with RJ-45 ports before insertion. Avoid sharp bends and kinks; maintain a gentle bend radius to preserve cable performance. For rack or patch-panel installations, secure excess length with cable ties or Velcro straps without compressing the jacket. When disconnecting, pull on the connector housing rather than the cable jacket to prevent damage to the termination.

Recommendations

Install the cable away from strong electrical sources and large power cables to reduce potential interference. For permanent installations or environments with higher EMI, consider using shielded cabling at both ends and ensuring proper grounding of shielded components. Test connections after installation with network testers to confirm continuity and correct wiring.
