InLine patchkabel flad, U/FTP, Cat.8.1, TPE halogenfri, grå, 3 m

The InLine Patch cable flat U/FTP Cat.8.1 TPE halogen-free grey 3m is a flat Ethernet patch cable designed for high-speed network connections over short to medium distances. Compliant with Cat.8.1 specifications and built with U/FTP shielding, the cable reduces crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference to maintain stable data transfer. The halogen-free TPE jacket improves safety in enclosed environments, while gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure reliable contact and low contact resistance.

Advantages

The flat design allows the cable to be routed under carpets or along skirting boards with minimal buildup and reduced visibility. U/FTP shielding around the pairs provides enhanced protection against interference compared with unshielded cabling, making it suitable for environments with potential EMI. The Cat.8.1 rating supports higher frequency transmission for modern network equipment. The halogen-free TPE sheath offers improved fire safety characteristics and a durable, flexible outer layer for repeated handling.

Suitable for

• Short to medium-range high-speed Ethernet connections in offices and data closets
• Routing along floors, under carpets, or in narrow cable ducts where a flat profile is advantageous
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is required, such as near electronic equipment
• Installations where halogen-free materials are preferred for added safety

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.8.1
• Shielding: U/FTP (overall braid with individually foiled pairs)
• Length: 3 m
• Conductor configuration: twisted pairs
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Jacket material: halogen-free TPE
• Design: flat profile for low-profile routing
• Color: grey

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (such as a switch, router, or network card) and the other RJ-45 plug to the target device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to secure the connection. Avoid sharp bends or excessive tensile stress on the flat cable to preserve shielding integrity and prevent damage to internal conductors. When routing under carpets or along skirting boards, position the cable so that it will not be subjected to constant heavy foot traffic or furniture edges that could compress or wear the jacket.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat.8.1 U/FTP cable for short-distance links within a room or data cabinet and pair it with shielded network equipment or properly grounded patch panels when possible. Regularly inspect connectors and the jacket for wear; replace the cable if there are visible cuts, crushing, or degraded contacts. Maintain gentle bend radii and avoid kinking to ensure long-term signal stability.
