InLine patchkabel-forlænger, S/FTP (PiMf), Cat.6, halogenfri, 3 m

The InLine patch cable extension S/FTP PiMf Cat.6 halogen-free 3m is a 3-metre network extension cable designed for Gigabit Ethernet connections. It uses S/FTP (screened foil twisted pair with individual pair foil) Cat.6 construction and halogen-free sheath material, providing reliable data transmission up to 1 Gb/s and a maximum frequency of 250 MHz. Both ends are fitted with RJ-45 connectors and the cable is black in colour.

Advantages

The S/FTP PiMf shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk for stable performance in demanding environments. Halogen-free sheath improves safety and reduces harmful emissions in case of fire. The 3 m length offers flexibility to extend existing network runs without reterminating cables, and standard RJ-45 connectors ensure compatibility with common network devices.

Suitable for

• Extending existing Cat.6 network connections
• Gigabit Ethernet (1 Gb/s) links
• Office and home network setups
• Environments requiring improved shielding against interference

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat.6
• Shielding: S/FTP (PiMf)
• Length: 3 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 – RJ-45
• Max. bandwidth/frequency: 250 MHz
• Rated speed: up to 1 Gb/s
• Sheath: halogen-free
• Colour: Black

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network device or wall outlet and the other RJ-45 connector into the target device (PC, switch, router or modem). Ensure connectors are fully seated to achieve proper contact. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain that could affect performance. For stable operation, keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference where possible.

Recommendations

Use this S/FTP Cat.6 extension for short to medium cable runs where Gigabit performance and improved shielding are required; avoid exposing the halogen-free sheath to extreme mechanical abrasion and follow standard installation practices to maintain signal quality.
