InLine patchkabel SF/UTP Cat.5e hvid 2 m

The InLine Patch Cable SF/UTP Cat.5e 2m is a 2-meter network cable for connecting devices with RJ45 ports. Designed as a Cat.5e SF/UTP twisted pair cable, it supports Gigabit Ethernet (1 Gb/s) at up to 125 MHz and includes shielded foil overall with unshielded twisted pairs to reduce external interference while maintaining flexible handling. The cable is white and comes fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends for direct patching between switches, routers, sockets, patch panels and network interfaces.

Advantages

The SF/UTP construction provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded variants, helping to maintain signal integrity in environments with potential noise sources. Its Cat.5e specification ensures compatibility with common Gigabit networking equipment, and the 2 m length is suitable for short runs in racks, patch panels or desktop connections. Pre-terminated RJ-45 connectors simplify installation and reduce setup time.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches and routers to patch panels
• Patching workstations or network sockets to local network equipment
• Short in-rack or under-desk Ethernet connections

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.5e SF/UTP twisted pair
• Length: 2 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 — both ends
• Maximum data rate: 1 Gb/s
• Frequency: up to 125 MHz
• Colour: White

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to the network device (switch, router, patch panel or network card) and the other RJ-45 end to the corresponding port on the second device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference where possible. For in-rack installations, secure the cable with appropriate ties to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Use this Cat.5e SF/UTP cable for short-distance Gigabit Ethernet connections where reduced interference is required. Avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines and replace the cable if connectors or outer sheath show visible damage.
