Interface-hub EXSYS EX-1116HMVS

The EXSYS EX-1116HMVS Interface Hub provides four USB 3.0 screw-lock downstream ports with individual protection against voltage fluctuations for each port. Designed for rack installation, it allows connecting up to four external USB 3.0 peripherals to a single upstream USB 3.0 port and is built in a compact, robust metal housing suitable for industrial and office environments. With support for USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5 Gbit/s) Type-A interfaces and compatibility with common Windows and Mac systems, the hub expands connectivity while meeting industrial application requirements.

Advantages

The hub offers screw-lockable USB 3.0 Type-A downstream ports to secure connections and reduce accidental disconnections. Each port includes protection against voltage fluctuations to safeguard connected devices. The metal construction provides durability for industrial use, and the compact 19-inch rack-compatible form factor saves space while allowing centralized USB expansion. Data transfer rates up to 5000 Mbit/s ensure high-speed communication with connected peripherals.

Suitable for

• Connecting USB 3.0 peripherals in industrial control cabinets and 19-inch racks
• Office workstations requiring multiple secured USB connections
• Automation systems that need durable, protected USB interfaces

How to use

Mount the EXSYS EX-1116HMVS in a 19-inch rack or place it on a stable surface. Connect the hub's upstream USB 3.0 port to your host computer using a compatible A‑male to B‑male USB 3.0 cable with screw-lock (for example EX-K1572V) and fasten the connector screws to secure the connection. Attach your USB 3.0 peripherals to the screw-lock downstream Type-A ports. The hub is typically plug-and-play with supported operating systems; verify driver requirements for your specific OS if necessary.

Recommendations

Use a screw-lock USB 3.0 cable (such as EX-K1572V, 2 m A‑male to B‑male) to ensure stable connections in industrial or vibration-prone environments. Avoid exposing the metal housing to excessive moisture and ensure proper ventilation when installed in densely packed racks.
