Interfacekort DeLOCK 89888

The DeLOCK 89888 is an internal PCIe interface card that expands a PC with four M.2 slots for SATA storage modules. It supports M.2 devices in sizes 2280, 2260, 2242 and 2230 and provides a maximum SATA transfer speed of 6 Gbit/s. The card uses the Marvell 88SE9230 chipset and supports RAID levels 0, 1 and 10 for flexible storage configurations.

Advantages

The interface card allows installation of up to four M.2 SATA modules on a single PCIe slot, enabling higher overall storage density without external enclosures. Support for standard M.2 sizes gives compatibility with a wide range of SSDs, while RAID 0, 1 and 10 options permit configuring for performance or redundancy. The integrated Marvell 88SE9230 chipset provides hardware-level SATA control and stable operation at up to 6 Gbit/s per channel.

How to use

Install the card into a free PCIe slot on the motherboard and secure it in the chassis. Mount M.2 SATA modules into the provided M.2 slots and fasten them according to their length (2280/2260/2242/2230). Connect any required power or SATA cables if specified by your system setup and configure the RAID level in the card’s BIOS/firmware or the host system's RAID management utility. Ensure drivers for the Marvell 88SE9230 chipset are installed in the operating system.

Recommendations

Use identical M.2 SATA modules of the same capacity and performance when configuring RAID arrays to achieve predictable behaviour and optimum performance. Verify motherboard PCIe lane availability and cooling in the chassis when populating all four M.2 slots.
