Intern SATA-adapter DeLOCK 89588

The DeLOCK 89588 is an internal SATA adapter that installs into a PCIe slot to add four M.2 SATA device connectors (formats 2280, 2260, 2242, 2230). The card has a low‑profile design with a green metallic housing and is intended to expand storage options in compact PCs. It supports Windows operating systems including Windows 10, 8.1 and 7.

Advantages

This PCI Express adapter provides four M.2 SATA slots on a single card, allowing connection of up to four M.2 SATA modules in common 22xx and 2230/2242/2260/2280 sizes. The low‑profile form factor saves space in small chassis and the metallic housing improves durability. Native SATA output and PCIe host interface ensure compatibility with standard SATA drives and typical desktop motherboards with available PCIe lanes.

How to use

Power off the PC and unplug it from the mains. Install the DeLOCK 89588 into an available PCIe slot following standard anti‑static procedures. Secure the card in the chassis and install M.2 SATA modules into the appropriate slots, fastening them according to the module length (2230–2280). Reassemble the system, power on, and verify the adapter and drives in the BIOS/UEFI or Windows Disk Management. Install drivers if required by the operating system.

Recommendations

Ensure the motherboard provides sufficient PCIe lanes and that the chosen M.2 modules use the SATA protocol (not NVMe) to guarantee compatibility. Allow adequate airflow in compact cases to maintain drive temperatures within manufacturer limits.
