Kabelstrømpe DeLOCK 20879 blå polyester 2,6 cm diameter

The DeLOCK 20879 cable sleeve is a woven polyester sleeve with a 2.6 cm diameter and a length of 2000 mm, designed to protect exposed cables, wires and electrical tubes from dirt and mechanical damage. Constructed from continuous monofilament and multifilament fibres, it offers increased abrasion resistance and enhanced flame resistance while remaining flexible and cuttable to individual lengths.

Advantages

The sleeve is self-closing, allowing cables to be added or removed multiple times without additional fasteners. Its polyester weave provides resistance to wear and a wide operating temperature range from -50 °C to 150 °C. The material can be shortened with a hot cutting tool to prevent fraying and to adapt the sleeve to the required length.

Suitable for

• Cable bundling in server racks and media installations
• Protecting power and signal cables in industrial environments
• Routing wiring in vehicles, boats or household installations

How to use

Slide the sleeve over the cable bundle; the woven sleeve closes around the cables automatically. To add or remove cables, open the sleeve at the insertion point and rearrange as needed. If a shorter sleeve is required, cut to length using a hot cutting tool to seal the cut edge and prevent unraveling.

Recommendations

For best results, plan the sleeve length before installation and use a proper hot cutting tool to trim to size. Avoid exposing the sleeve to direct flames beyond its rated temperature limits and inspect periodically for mechanical damage in high-abrasion environments.
