Keystone-modul EFB Elektronik EB529 flad sort hvid

The EFB Elektronik EB529 flat keystone module in black or white provides a compact interface for ST fiber optic connections. Designed for panel and wall-plate installations, this module offers a low-profile appearance and straightforward insertion into standard keystone frames. The EB529 supports secure ST connector mating and maintains optical alignment to ensure signal integrity in residential or professional network environments.

Advantages

The flat form factor minimizes protrusion from panels and wall plates, making the module suitable where space is limited. ST connector compatibility provides a familiar, bayonet-style connection that is easy to engage and disengage. Available in two colors, black and white, the module blends with standard installation aesthetics. The module is built to preserve fiber alignment and reduce loss at the connection point.

Suitable for

• Home fiber optic installations and media converters
• Office and small data distribution panels
• Patch panels and wall plates requiring ST fiber connections
• Audio/video and broadcast installations using ST connectors

Key specifications

• Connector type: ST (bayonet-style)
• Form factor: flat keystone module for standard keystone openings
• Color options: flat black, white
• Application: multimode and singlemode fiber patching (depending on fiber and connector used)
• Mounting: snap-in installation into keystone adapter panels and wall plates

How to use

Insert the keystone module into a compatible keystone opening until it snaps into place. Terminate or connect fiber patch cords with ST connectors by aligning the key and twisting the connector into the bayonet socket until secure. Ensure fibers are properly cleaned and inspected before mating to minimize insertion loss and back reflection. For maintenance, unmount the module by pressing the retaining clips and pulling gently from the panel.

Recommendations

Use appropriate fiber cleaning tools and inspection scopes before connecting to preserve optical performance. Select the color option that matches your installation for consistent appearance, and verify connector type compatibility (ST) with existing cabling. Avoid excessive bending of fiber near the module and secure patch cords to prevent strain on the connection.
