Keystone-modul Helos 304268 flad sølv RJ-45

The Helos 304268 Flat Silver RJ-45 keystone module is a compact, single-port insert designed for network patch panels, wall plates and modular faceplates. Its flat construction and silver finish provide a low-profile, discreet connection point for Ethernet cabling while maintaining the mechanical fit common to keystone systems. The module accommodates a standard RJ-45 jack and is supplied as one piece, offering a straightforward option for extending or repairing structured cabling installations.

Advantages

The flat profile reduces protrusion behind faceplates and in furniture installations, allowing cleaner alignment with surrounding modules. The silver finish provides a neutral aesthetic that integrates with metal and light-coloured panels. The keystone form factor ensures compatibility with most standardized mounting frames and panels, while the compact dimensions make it easy to position in confined spaces during patching or retrofitting.

Suitable for

• Ethernet network connections in offices and homes
• Installation in modular faceplates and wall plates
• Patching panels and network distribution frames
• Repairing or expanding existing structured cabling

How to use

Insert the keystone module into a compatible keystone opening in a wall plate, faceplate or patch panel until it snaps into place. Terminate the incoming Ethernet cable to the rear of the RJ-45 jack following the applicable wiring standard (T568A or T568B), ensuring correct pair alignment and secure punch-down or crimp termination as required. After termination, verify the connection with a cable tester and mount the populated plate or panel in its intended location.

Recommendations

Use compatible keystone frames and faceplates to ensure a secure fit. Observe industry wiring standards when terminating cables, and verify performance after installation with suitable testing equipment. For installations in high-traffic or moisture-prone areas, consider protected enclosures or grommets to reduce strain and environmental exposure.
