Koaksialstik F-type ShiverPeaks BS85004-10

The ShiverPeaks BS85004-10 is a pack of 10 F-type coaxial connectors for creating reliable male connections on coaxial cables. Each connector has a 5.2 mm outer diameter and is intended for standard TV and satellite cabling. The kit is suited for installations where secure, low-loss signal transmission is required and supports both professional fitting and do-it-yourself repairs or upgrades.

Advantages

These F-type connectors are made to provide stable electrical contact and consistent impedance matching to reduce signal reflection. Supplied in a 10-piece pack, they enable multiple terminations for a single job or spare parts for maintenance. The male design and standard diameter allow straightforward installation on common coaxial cable types used for television and satellite distribution.

Suitable for

• TV antenna cable terminations
• Satellite dish cable connections
• Set-top box and RF device connections
• Home AV and distribution amplifiers
• Repair and replacement of damaged coaxial connectors

Key specifications

• Connector type: F-type, male
• Pack quantity: 10 pieces
• Outer diameter: 5.2 mm
• Contact arrangement: single central pin with threaded outer body
• Typical application: TV and satellite RF signal transmission

How to use

Prepare the coaxial cable by stripping the outer jacket, braid and dielectric to the appropriate lengths for the connector type. Slide the connector onto the prepared cable, ensuring the centre conductor extends into the central pin area and the braid makes firm contact with the connector body. Tighten the threaded body by hand and finish with a suitable wrench if required to ensure mechanical stability and good electrical contact. Repeat the process for each cable end that requires termination.

Recommendations

Use connectors that match the cable dimensions and follow standard cable preparation procedures to maintain signal integrity. Avoid over-tightening to prevent damage to the connector or cable, and verify continuity and signal level after installation.
