Koaksialstik F-type ShiverPeaks BS85009-R

The ShiverPeaks BS85009-R is a high-quality F-type coaxial connector designed to provide reliable RF connections for consumer and professional equipment. This male connector has a 6.7 mm diameter and is manufactured to ensure a secure mechanical and electrical fit with standard F-type female sockets. Supplied as a single piece, it is intended for straightforward installation where a compact, precise coaxial interface is required.

Advantages

The connector offers consistent signal transfer and stable mechanical contact due to its precisely machined geometry and standard F-type form factor. Its 6.7 mm male diameter provides compatibility with typical coaxial cables and device inputs, minimizing signal loss and interference when properly installed. Supplied as an individual unit, it is suitable for targeted replacements or single-point installations without excess packaging.

Suitable for

• Connecting television antennas and set-top boxes
• Signal distribution in home AV and satellite systems
• Repairing or replacing damaged F-type terminations on coaxial cables
• Laboratory and field measurements where a standard F-type interface is required

Key specifications

• Connector type: F-type male coaxial connector
• Outer diameter (male): 6.7 mm
• Pack quantity: 1 piece
• Contact configuration: single central pin with threaded outer conductor interface
• Intended use: RF signal transmission on coaxial cable systems

How to use

Prepare the coaxial cable by stripping the outer jacket, braid, and dielectric to the appropriate dimensions for an F-type termination. Slide the connector onto the prepared cable end and ensure the centre conductor aligns with the internal contact. Engage the threaded outer shell with the device or mating connector and tighten by hand, then finish with a suitable tool if a firmer mechanical connection is required. Confirm the connection is snug and electrically continuous before finalising installation.

Recommendations

Use this ShiverPeaks F-type connector with compatible coaxial cables and connectors rated for the same frequency range. Avoid overtightening the threaded interface to prevent damage to the connector or mating socket. For best RF performance, ensure cable preparation is clean and the centre conductor is straight and properly seated.
