Kølesystemdel Alphacool 17234

The Alphacool Eiszapfen connector series is the high-end version of Alphacool's proven fittings, designed for use in PC liquid cooling systems. This straight screw-on fitting (male) is finished in matte black, compatible on one side with a 1/4" thread and on the other side made for a 16/10 mm hard tube or hose. Durable coatings and precise manufacturing ensure long service life and secure connections during transport and operation.

Advantages

The design combines high flow characteristics with solid build quality and precise finishing. Special coating processes bond the finish to the base material to prevent flaking and maintain intense color. Chamfered edges on the compression nut press the O‑ring firmly against the hard tube, improving sealing compared with previous generations. The Alphacool logo and the distinctive Eiszapfen shape make the fitting easily identifiable.

Suitable for

• Custom PC liquid cooling loops using 16/10 mm hard tubing
• Systems requiring a 1/4" threaded male fitting for radiators, pumps or blocks
• Upgrades or replacements where durable, transport-safe fittings are needed

Key specifications

• Type: Straight screw-on fitting (male)
• Thread: 1/4" (compatible with ~95% of components)
• Tube/hose size: 16/10 mm
• Finish/color: Matte black with bonded coating
• Brand/Model: Alphacool Eiszapfen series (MPN 17234)
• Dimensions (product data): 22 mm × 27 mm × 22 mm
• Weight: 0.1 kg

How to use

Thread the 1/4" male side into the corresponding female port on the component (radiator, pump or block) and tighten by hand or with a suitable wrench until secure. Insert the 16/10 mm hard tube into the opposite side and tighten the compression nut so the chamfered edges press the O‑ring firmly against the tube for a reliable seal. Check alignment and torque to avoid overtightening; ensure the O‑ring is seated correctly before final assembly.

Recommendations

Use matching Alphacool-compatible 1/4" threaded ports and 16/10 mm tubing for best results. Inspect O‑rings before installation and replace if worn. For transport, retighten fittings after shipping and re-check for leaks during initial power-up of the system.
