Why choose it

The Carbon Pro Zero Compact sets a benchmark for ultralight trekking poles. The carbon fiber construction provides excellent vibration damping and stiffness, reducing fatigue on long descents. The Powerlock 3.0 mechanism ensures secure, tool-free length adjustment even with gloves on. The extended foam grip offers multiple hand positions for steep climbs, while the padded strap enhances comfort and security. The tungsten/carbide flex tip delivers reliable traction on rock, ice, and hardpack, and the interchangeable basket system adapts to different seasons and terrain.

Ideal use cases

• Fastpacking and ultralight backpacking
• Alpine trekking and mountaineering
• Long-distance hiking trails
• Technical terrain requiring precise pole placement
• Travel where packability is essential

Good to know

These poles are unisex and suitable for a broad range of outdoor enthusiasts. The compact folded size meets most airline carry-on restrictions when collapsed, making them a great choice for adventure travel. For winter use, simply swap the Vario basket for a snow basket (sold separately) to prevent sinking in soft snow. Regular maintenance of the locking mechanism and tip inspection will extend the life of the poles.
