Krog EUROLITE DEC-250 sort – Quick-Lock scene-/riggingkrog

The EUROLITE DEC-250 black – Quick-Lock stage/rigging hook is a compact rigging accessory engineered for fast and secure connections in professional stage, lighting and event installations. The black finish reduces reflections under stage lighting while the Quick-Lock mechanism enables rapid attachment and release of trusses, lighting fixtures and safety lines. The design prioritizes ease of use and reliability for mobile crews and fixed installations where repeated assembly and disassembly are required.

Advantages

The Quick-Lock mechanism provides a swift one-handed connection and positive locking for safe load-bearing applications. A compact, lightweight construction minimizes added weight to trusses and rigging points while preserving load capacity. The black surface treatment offers enhanced visual discretion and corrosion resistance in typical indoor and occasional outdoor event environments. The overall geometry is optimized to prevent accidental disengagement while allowing quick intentional release.

How to use

Position the hook so the opening engages the truss eye, fixture bracket or safety point. Operate the Quick-Lock mechanism until it fully engages and confirms a positive lock; ensure the hook is seated correctly before applying load. For disconnection, operate the release portion of the Quick-Lock and remove the hook once the load has been safely removed or supported. Always follow the rigging plan and the equipment manufacturer instructions for the connected elements.

Recommendations

Perform a visual inspection before each use, checking for deformation, excessive wear or damage to the locking mechanism. Verify compatibility with the specific fixture or truss hardware and adhere to the applicable load ratings and local safety standards. Do not use the hook if any damage or malfunction is detected; replace or service as required by professional rigging practices.
