Krympeflex DeLOCK 18977

The DeLOCK 18977 heat shrink tube is a 1 m long protective sleeve with a maximum diameter of 1.8 cm designed to insulate and protect cables, electrical tubes and wires. When heat is applied the tube shrinks and forms a tight covering around the cable, increasing resistance to weathering and mechanical damage while improving electrical insulation.

Advantages

This heat shrink tube provides reliable electrical insulation and mechanical protection for wiring. Its 1 m length and 1.8 cm maximum diameter make it suitable for a variety of cable sizes. The material shrinks uniformly under heat to form a tight, durable sleeve that helps prevent moisture ingress and abrasion.

Suitable for

• Insulating and protecting single wires and small cable bundles
• Repairing damaged cable sheaths
• Strain relief at connector joints
• General electrical and electronics DIY and professional applications

Key specifications

• Brand: DELOCK
• Model / MPN: 18977
• EAN: 4043619189779
• Length: 1 m
• Maximum diameter before shrink: 1.8 cm
• Application: cable and wire insulation and protection

How to use

Slide the heat shrink tube over the cable or joint to be covered. Apply heat evenly (for example with a heat gun or hot air tool) until the tube contracts and closely conforms to the cable surface. Allow the sleeve to cool so it sets firmly around the wiring. Ensure the heat source is used at an appropriate distance and temperature to avoid damaging the cable or tube.

Recommendations

For best results use a controlled heat gun and heat evenly; avoid open flame. Select a tube diameter that is larger than the cable before shrinking and verify compatibility with the operating temperature and environmental conditions of the intended application.
