Krympeflex DeLOCK 18981 sort 2 m 1 cm

The DeLOCK 18981 heat shrink tube is a 2 meter long polyolefin sleeve with a maximum diameter of 1 cm and black colour. It is designed to provide insulation and mechanical protection for cables, wires and electrical connections by shrinking tightly around them when heat is applied.

Advantages

The polyolefin material gives good electrical insulation and resistance to environmental influences while the 2 m length allows covering multiple connections or longer runs. The black colour helps conceal wiring and the 1 cm maximum diameter fits a wide range of cable sizes.

Suitable for

• Insulating and protecting individual wires and cable joints
• Repairing damaged cable insulation
• Organizing and bundling cables in electronics and DIY projects

How to use

Cut the heat shrink tube to the required length, slide it over the cable or connection, then apply heat evenly (for example with a heat gun or hot-air tool) until the sleeve shrinks tightly around the object. Allow to cool so the sleeve sets. Avoid direct open flame contact to prevent damage to the sleeve and the cable.

Recommendations

For best results use a controlled heat source such as a heat gun and apply heat evenly. Ensure the tube diameter before shrinking is appropriate for the cable so it fully encloses the connection once shrunk.
