Krympeflex DeLOCK 18986 sort 2 m 2,2 cm

The DeLOCK 18986 heat shrink tube is a 2 meter long polyolefin sleeve with a maximum diameter of 2.2 cm. It is designed to insulate and protect cables, electrical tubes and wires by shrinking tightly around them when heat is applied, providing mechanical protection and increased resistance to environmental influences.

Advantages

The polyolefin construction offers reliable electrical insulation and good resistance to abrasion. The black colour provides discreet protection and UV resistance for many outdoor and indoor applications. Its 2 m length allows covering longer cable runs or multiple connections with a single sleeve.

Suitable for

• Insulating and protecting electrical wires and splices
• Repairing damaged cable jackets
• Bundling and organizing cable harnesses
• Strain relief for connectors and cable ends

Key specifications

How to use

Slide the heat shrink tube over the cable or joint so the area to be protected is fully covered. Apply heat evenly using a heat gun, hot-air tool or suitable heat source until the sleeve shrinks tightly around the cable and the gap is closed. Allow the tube to cool and verify that it has formed a secure, uniform seal.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment and controlled heat sources to avoid damage to cables or surrounding components. For critical electrical connections confirm that the sleeve diameter and material are compatible with your operating temperatures and insulation requirements.
