Låseringstang Knipex 49 11 A2

The Knipex 49 11 A2 Circlip Pliers are forged from chrome vanadium electric steel and finished for oil-hardening, providing robust construction for installing and removing circlips. At 180 mm length and 170 g weight, these pliers combine compact size with durable materials. Inserted drawn spring-steel tips and a bolted joint ensure precise, low-play operation, while a protected internal opening spring and non-slip plastic handle coating support reliable everyday use.

Advantages

Inserted tips extend service life up to ten times compared with turned tips and create large contact faces to prevent distortion of circlips during installation. The bolted joint delivers precise, zero-backlash movement. The internal opening spring is captive and protected, and the non-slip plastic coating on the handles improves grip. The pliers body is forged from chrome vanadium electric steel and oil-hardened for strength and wear resistance.

Suitable for

• Installing and removing internal and external circlips
• Mechanical assembly and maintenance tasks
• Automotive repair and small-engine work
• Precision work in workshops and DIY projects

After use, release the internal opening spring and store the pliers in a dry place to protect the tips and joint.

Recommendations

Use the Knipex 49 11 A2 for tasks that require precise, low-play manipulation of circlips. Avoid applying excessive lateral force on the tips, and inspect the inserted tips periodically for wear. Keep the pliers clean and lightly lubricate the bolted joint if movement becomes stiff.
