Låseringstang Knipex 49 21 A21

The Knipex 49 21 A21 Circlip Pliers are precision tools for installing and removing internal circlips. Made from forged, oil‑hardened chrome‑vanadium electric steel with inserted drawn spring‑steel tips and non‑slip plastic coated handles, these pliers are 165 mm long and designed for reliable, long‑life use in maintenance and assembly tasks.

Advantages

Inserted tips provide reliable operation and large contact faces prevent distortion of circlips for easier fitting. The heavy‑duty design offers up to ten times longer service life compared to turned tips. A bolted joint ensures precise, backlash‑free action while the internal opening spring is protected and captive for safe continuous operation. The pliers body is forged and oil‑hardened for durability and the handles have a non‑slip plastic coating for secure grip.

Release the handles slowly to avoid sudden movement. Use the pliers for their intended internal circlip application only and ensure the tips are properly engaged before exerting force.

Recommendations

Keep the inserted tips clean and undamaged; inspect the bolted joint periodically and tighten if necessary. Store the pliers dry and use light machine oil on the joint to maintain smooth operation. Do not use the tool for prying or on fasteners; use only for circlip installation and removal.
