Låseringstang Knipex 49 21 A41

The Knipex 49 21 A41 Circlip Pliers are heavy-duty pliers designed for reliable installation and removal of circlips. Made from forged, oil-hardened chrome vanadium electric steel with drawn spring-steel inserted tips, they offer long service life and robust performance. At 305 mm length and 601 g weight, the tool provides good leverage and control while the non-slip plastic-coated handles improve handling during continuous use.

Advantages

Inserted tips made from drawn spring steel increase durability and, combined with large contact faces, prevent distortion of circlips and allow easy fitting. The bolted joint ensures precise, zero-backlash operation, while the internal opening spring is protected and captive for reliable continuous operation. Overall construction and materials give up to 10 times longer service life compared to turned tips.

Suitable for

How to use

Select the appropriate orientation of the pliers for internal or external circlips, position the inserted tips on the circlip contact points, and squeeze the handles to compress or expand the circlip as required. Use the bolted joint to maintain precise tip alignment and rely on the internal protected spring for controlled reopening. Maintain a steady grip on the non-slip handles and perform operations with appropriate hand positioning to control leverage and avoid slippage.

Recommendations

For reliable, long service life, avoid using the pliers on fasteners or materials other than circlips. Inspect the inserted tips regularly for wear and replace if deformed. Store the tool clean and dry to preserve the oil-hardened steel and plastic handles.
