Lexmark medietilførselsenhed

In a busy accounting office, the Lexmark 250-Sheet Media Feed Unit is the go-to upgrade for the Lexmark MS610dn sitting on the workgroup's central desk. Instead of refilling the standard tray twice a day, the team loads a full ream of letterhead and lets the printer run through long invoice batches without interruption. This user-installable tray attaches directly to the base of compatible Lexmark laser printers, adding a dedicated 250-sheet input for A4, legal, or executive paper. It handles everything from 60 gsm plain paper to 176 gsm card stock, plus envelopes, labels, and transparencies, so the office can switch from reports to mailers without swapping trays.

Why choose it

The Lexmark 250-Sheet Media Feed Unit eliminates the most common bottleneck in small workgroups: constant paper refills. By adding a second input tray, you can keep two different media types loaded at all times—letterhead in the main tray and plain paper in the feed unit, for example—and switch between them from the printer driver without touching the hardware. The tray is built from high-impact plastic with metal feed components, matching the durability of the printer itself, and it installs in minutes without special tools or service calls.

Ideal use cases

• Accounting departments printing multi-page reports and invoices on letterhead
• Medical offices that alternate between plain paper and label sheets for patient charts
• Legal firms requiring both letter and legal size documents from the same printer
• Schools and libraries that print high volumes of worksheets and notices
• Any Lexmark MS/MX owner who wants to reduce printer downtime

Good to know

This unit is an original Lexmark accessory, not a third-party clone, so it integrates seamlessly with the printer's paper handling and status monitoring. The tray's universal size setting supports custom paper dimensions, and the electromechanical feed system is designed for reliable separation of even heavy card stock. Because it draws power from the host printer, there are no extra cables or power bricks to manage. For maximum flexibility, pair it with the printer's built-in multipurpose tray to handle envelopes and special media while the feed unit handles the bulk of the workload.
