Lindy 2m LC-LC OS2 9/125 fiberoptisk patchkabel

The Lindy 2m LC-LC OS2 9/125 Fibre Optic Patch Cable is designed for high-speed data transmission in telecom and network environments. With a 9 µm singlemode core and LC connectors on both ends, this 2-metre cable supports full-duplex communication and is suitable for modern high-bandwidth applications such as data centres and backbone links. Ceramic ferrules in the connectors provide low insertion loss and consistent performance with standard fibre optic equipment.

Advantages

The OS2 singlemode construction and 9/125 specification ensure low attenuation over long distances, while LC-LC terminations offer compact connectors suitable for high-density patch panels. Ceramic ferrules increase connector reliability and reduce signal loss, and the 2 m length balances flexibility and neat cable management in racks and cabinets.

Suitable for

• Connecting network devices in data centres
• Patch panel to switch or transceiver links
• Telecommunications backbone connections
• High-speed fibre optic link testing and installation

How to use

Route the cable between devices ensuring bend radii are respected to avoid excessive attenuation. Clean connector end-faces before making connections to ensure optimal signal quality. Insert LC connectors into compatible LC ports on switches, transceivers or patch panels until they click into place. For full-duplex links, use one fibre for transmit and the other for receive according to equipment labelling.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable to avoid sharp bends and tensile stress; use dust caps on unused connectors and perform inspection/cleaning of end-faces during installation to maintain low insertion loss.
