Lydkabel ShiverPeaks BS06-211005 100 m sort

The ShiverPeaks BS06-211005 audio cable is a 100 m black cable designed for reliable audio transmission in professional and semi-professional environments. Constructed to provide consistent signal transfer over long distances, this cable aims to reduce signal loss and interference while remaining flexible enough for installation and frequent handling. The cable is supplied without fitted connectors, enabling customization with connectors suitable for specific systems and setups.

Advantages

This audio cable provides long uninterrupted runs suitable for stages, studios, and fixed installations. Its 100 m length minimizes the need for splices and intermediate repeaters. The black outer sheath delivers a discreet appearance for visible routing on stage or in racks while offering protection from wear and abrasion. The absence of pre-attached connectors allows professional installers to terminate the cable to match required connector types and pinouts, providing greater system compatibility and reduced waste.

Suitable for

• Stage and live sound installations where long cable runs are required
• Recording studios and post-production environments for clean signal routing
• Permanent AV installations in theatres, conference rooms and houses of worship
• Custom equipment wiring where specific connectors or terminations are needed

Key specifications

• Length: 100 m
• Colour: Black outer sheath
• Connector type: delivered without connectors for custom termination
• Application: audio signal transmission over long distances
• Construction: flexible jacket suitable for installation and handling

How to use

Plan cable routing and measure required runs before cutting. Because the cable is supplied without connectors, choose compatible connectors and termination methods for the equipment in use; strip the jacket and shield as appropriate, take care to preserve conductor integrity and shielding continuity, and follow manufacturer or industry-standard wiring diagrams. Secure runs with appropriate clamps or ties to avoid strain on terminations and avoid running parallel to mains wiring to reduce interference. For temporary stage use, coil and store the cable properly after each event to maintain flexibility and prolong service life.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this cable in conjunction with balanced audio equipment when possible, maintain sufficient distance from power cables to limit electromagnetic interference, and have terminations performed by qualified technicians to ensure correct impedance and shielding continuity.
