3M™ Magnet Tape MGO is a flexible magnetic strip 1.55 mm thick with a pressure-sensitive rubber adhesive on one side. The 3M 80130006093 magnetic strip measures 19 mm in width and 30.5 m in length, presented as a single brown roll suitable for a variety of home and office mounting tasks where a removable or permanent magnetic attachment is required.

How to use

Cut the magnetic tape to the required length with scissors or a utility knife. Ensure the target surface is clean, dry and free of dust or oils. Peel off the protective liner and press the adhesive side firmly onto the surface, smoothing along the tape to ensure full contact. For removable use, press firmly but test adhesion on a small area first; for permanent mounting, apply sustained pressure for several seconds. Store unused roll in a cool, dry place.

Recommendations

For best results, apply the magnetic strip to smooth, non-porous surfaces and avoid use on freshly painted or delicate finishes without first testing. Do not expose the adhesive to prolonged temperatures above manufacturer recommendations to preserve bond strength.
