Manuel rørskærer Gedore R93600035 560 g

The Gedore R93600035 manual pipe cutter is a compact hand tool designed for precise cutting of metal and plastic pipes. Weighing approximately 560 g, this cutter combines a robust metal body with a sharp cutting wheel to deliver straight, clean cuts on common pipe materials. Its compact size and single-handed operation make it suitable for use in confined spaces and for tasks that require controlled, accurate cutting.

Advantages

The cutter provides consistent cutting performance thanks to a hardened cutting wheel and a stable frame that minimizes deformation during use. Its lightweight construction at 560 g reduces operator fatigue while maintaining durability. The tool’s compact profile allows access to narrow areas, and the simple adjustment mechanism ensures quick setup for different pipe diameters. Materials and build quality are intended to offer long service life under regular workshop or site conditions.

Suitable for

• Cutting copper and aluminium pipes
• Trimming plastic (PVC, CPVC) piping
• Plumbing installations and repairs
• HVAC maintenance and small metalworking tasks
• DIY projects requiring accurate pipe lengths

Key specifications

• Weight: approximately 560 g
• Tool type: manual pipe cutter (hand-operated)
• Cutting mechanism: rotating cutting wheel with adjustable frame
• Construction: metal body designed for durability
• Suitable pipe materials: copper, aluminium, common plastic pipes
• Typical use: single-handed operation in confined spaces

How to use

Place the pipe in the cutter’s opening and tighten the adjustment mechanism until the cutting wheel contacts the pipe surface. Rotate the cutter around the pipe several full turns while gradually tightening the adjustment to maintain cutting pressure. Continue until the pipe is fully severed, then remove burrs or sharp edges with a deburring tool or fine file for a clean finish. Follow basic safety precautions such as securing the pipe and wearing eye protection while cutting.

Recommendations

For optimal results, inspect the cutting wheel before use and replace it if worn or damaged. Use steady, even pressure while rotating to avoid deforming softer pipes. After cutting plastic pipes, deburr the inner edge to prevent flow obstruction. Store the cutter in a dry place and perform periodic cleaning and light lubrication of moving parts to extend service life.
