Mesh-system Cudy M1300 2-PACK

The Cudy M1300 2-PACK is a dual-band mesh Wi‑Fi system supporting Wi‑Fi 5 (802.11ac) with internal antennas. Supplied as two identical units, it creates a single seamless wireless network operating on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands to extend coverage across larger homes or small offices. The devices include 16 MB of internal memory and 128 MB of flash storage and are powered via an AC adapter with a 12 V, 1 A output. The white finish integrates unobtrusively into most interiors while a single Ethernet LAN (RJ‑45) port on each unit allows wired connection to a modem or a wired client.

Advantages

The mesh design provides unified SSID roaming between units so client devices switch automatically to the strongest signal without manual network changes. Dual‑band operation lets you separate or combine traffic across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz for improved range and throughput. Internal antennas contribute to a compact, minimal look while reducing installation complexity. Moderate memory and flash capacity support stable firmware operation and configuration storage. The included power adapters with 12 V/1 A output deliver a consistent power supply for continuous operation.

Suitable for

• Extending Wi‑Fi coverage in multi‑room apartments and medium‑sized houses
• Small office environments requiring seamless roaming between workspaces
• Homes where a simple, compact mesh solution with a minimal footprint is preferred
• Situations needing one wired Ethernet connection per unit for modem or wired device connection

Key specifications

• Wireless standard: Wi‑Fi 5 (802.11ac), dual‑band (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz)
• Antennas: internal
• Memory: 16 MB internal memory; 128 MB flash storage
• Ethernet: 1 x LAN (RJ‑45) port per unit
• Power: AC adapter output 12 V ⎓ 1 A
• Colour: white
• Package: two mesh units (2‑pack)

How to use

Connect one unit to your internet gateway or modem using the Ethernet LAN port and plug the supplied AC adapter into a power outlet. Place the second unit in a location where it can receive a strong signal from the primary unit to extend coverage. Power on both units and follow the manufacturer's setup procedure — typically via a web interface or companion mobile app — to create or import your network SSID and password and to configure any desired settings such as guest network or parental controls. After initial setup the mesh system manages client roaming automatically.

Recommendations

For optimal coverage, place units at mid‑distance between areas with poor signal and the main router location, avoiding obstructions like thick walls or large metal objects. Use the 5 GHz band for high‑bandwidth activities close to a unit and the 2.4 GHz band for wider coverage and legacy devices. Keep firmware up to date and secure the network with WPA2/WPA3 credentials where available.
