Microconnect AUDSPEAKER7-100 lydkabel 100 m transparent

The Microconnect AUDSPEAKER7-100 is a 100 m speaker cable with male connectors on both ends, constructed with Copper-Clad Aluminium (CCA) conductors. The cable features two cores of 2.5 mm² equivalent (2 x 50/0.25 mm) and an outer dimension of approximately 3.8 x 8.0 mm. Its transparent sheath reveals the internal structure, and copper-plated contacts provide consistent electrical connection suitable for audio installations in home and professional environments.

Advantages

CCA construction reduces weight while maintaining conductive copper surface for improved signal transfer compared with plain aluminium; the 2 x 2.5 mm² cross-section supports typical speaker loads over moderate distances. The long 100 m length allows routing for larger rooms or multi-room setups, and the transparent outer jacket helps visual inspection during installation. Copper-plated contacts offer reliable contact with speaker terminals and amplifiers.

Suitable for

• Wiring passive loudspeakers in home audio systems
• Temporary or permanent installations in small venues and rehearsal rooms
• Long cable runs where 100 m length is required
• Projects where lightweight, visible jacket cable is preferred

How to use

Unroll the cable and route it between amplifier and speakers, avoiding sharp bends and sources of interference. Strip appropriate lengths of the sheath and insulation at termination points, then connect the conductors to speaker terminals or attach compatible connectors, ensuring correct polarity. Use cable ties or clips to secure runs and maintain separation from mains power cables where possible.

Recommendations

For best audio performance, keep cable runs as short as practical and verify polarity at both ends. When using long runs close to 100 m, check amplifier load capabilities and, if necessary, consider larger conductor cross-sections for high-power applications.
