Monteringsbeslag Mikrotik CWDM-CHASSIS-2

The Mikrotik CWDM-CHASSIS-2 mounting bracket is a 1U rack accessory designed to hold two CWDM-MUX8A units securely in a standard server rack. Finished in black, this bracket provides a compact and stable solution for integrating CWDM modules into rack installations while maintaining convenient access for cabling and routine maintenance.

Advantages

The bracket offers a sturdy 1U form factor that minimizes rack space usage while supporting two CWDM-MUX8A modules. Its black finish is resistant to visible wear in typical server-room environments and the design facilitates straightforward installation and removal of modules for maintenance or replacement. The mounting points and structure ensure stable positioning to reduce stress on fiber connections.

Suitable for

• Mounting and organizing CWDM-MUX8A modules in a server rack
• Deployments where compact 1U density and secure module retention are required
• Telecommunications and data center racks that use CWDM multiplexing equipment
• Situations requiring easy access for cable management and module servicing

Key specifications

• Form factor: 1U rack-mount bracket
• Capacity: holds two CWDM-MUX8A units
• Finish: black
• Material: metal construction for stability (manufacturer standard)
• Compatibility: designed for use with compatible Mikrotik CWDM modules

How to use

Install the bracket into a standard 19-inch rack at a chosen 1U position using appropriate rack screws. Secure each CWDM-MUX8A unit into the bracket according to the module mounting points, ensuring correct alignment and firm seating. Route fiber and power cabling with care to avoid sharp bends near the module ports and confirm all connections before powering equipment. For removal, reverse the procedure: disconnect cabling, unfasten module attachment points and slide modules out for service.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, mount the bracket within a stable rack environment with proper ventilation and strain relief for fiber connections. Use standard rack hardware sized to your rack rails and verify module compatibility with the CWDM-CHASSIS-2 before installation. Handle fiber connections with care and schedule routine inspections to confirm secure mounting and cable integrity.
