Netkabel ProXtend PC-KITOE-002W-M 2 m — EDB- til PC-stik

Power cord ProXtend PC-KITOE-002W-M 2 m — EDB to PC connector is a fixed-length 2 meter cable engineered to connect devices that use an EDB interface to a PC connector. The cable provides a reliable wired link for compatible equipment in home and office environments and can serve as a replacement for worn or damaged cables. Constructed for straightforward plug-and-play installation, it supports typical power and signal transfer requirements where an EDB-to-PC connection is specified.

Advantages

The cable’s 2 meter length balances reach and cable management, allowing equipment to be positioned with moderate flexibility while avoiding excessive slack. The molded connectors are designed to sit securely in their sockets to minimise accidental disconnection. The straightforward single-cable form factor simplifies replacement of factory-supplied or legacy leads and reduces clutter compared with multi-segment adapters. Materials and construction focus on consistent contact and predictable behaviour during normal use.

Suitable for

• Replacing a worn EDB to PC cable for compatible devices
• Connecting peripheral equipment to a desktop or workstation
• Fixed installations where a 2 m cable length is appropriate
• Home office setups requiring a direct wired connection

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2 m
• Connector type: EDB connector to PC connector
• Design: fixed-length, single cable
• Use: wired power and signal link for compatible devices
• Construction: molded connector housings for stable seating

How to use

Identify the correct EDB and PC connector sockets on the devices to be joined. Align the connectors according to their shapes and seating guides, then push gently until each connector locks or seats fully. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and strain on the connectors. If disconnecting, grip the connector housing rather than pulling the cable to avoid damage. Regularly inspect connector contacts and the cable sheath for visible wear or damage and replace the cable if any compromises are found.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, avoid routing the cable near high-heat sources or heavy foot traffic. Use cable clips or ties to secure the run and reduce stress on connector ends. Ensure connectors are fully seated before powering connected equipment. If used in a professional environment, keep a spare cable available to minimise downtime in case of wear or accidental damage.
