Netværksåndedrætsmaske 3M 5C-1

The 3M 5C-1 Mesh Respirator is a lightweight personal protective device designed for comfortable, extended wear in environments where basic particulate protection and breathability are required. Weighing approximately 54 g and certified to applicable CE requirements, the respirator uses a mesh construction to combine low profile fit with airflow-friendly materials, allowing users to maintain visibility and freedom of movement while reducing breathing resistance during routine tasks.

Advantages

The mesh structure offers enhanced breathability compared with denser filter masks, supporting longer continuous use with less heat buildup. At about 54 g, the mask places minimal load on the face and head, reducing user fatigue. The low-profile design helps preserve field of vision and compatibility with other personal protective equipment. CE certification indicates conformity with European safety requirements for its intended protective category.

How to use

Before each use, inspect the respirator for damage, tears or degraded components. Position the respirator on the face ensuring a secure fit over the nose and mouth; adjust straps or fastenings so that the mask seals comfortably without excessive pressure. Replace the respirator if it becomes soiled, damp, damaged or if breathing becomes difficult. Follow any workplace or regulatory guidelines for selection, fit testing and replacement intervals.

Recommendations

Use the 3M 5C-1 Mesh Respirator in environments with non-oil-based particulates and where comfort and breathability are required. Do not use for protection against hazardous gases, vapors, asbestos, or high concentrations of toxic particulates. Store in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and chemicals. For tasks requiring higher levels of respiratory protection, consult applicable standards and choose an appropriate certified respirator.
