Netværksgennemføringsdåse DeLOCK 86410

The Network Junction Box DeLOCK 86410 is a compact coupler designed to join two Cat6a network cables without plugs, allowing extension or repair of existing cables. It features S/UTP shielding to support high-speed, reliable data transmission and is suitable for installations where a small, durable junction is required.

Advantages

The Delock 86410 provides a simple mechanical connection for two cable ends while preserving S/UTP shielding properties, helping to maintain signal integrity. Its compact dimensions (34.9 mm × 62.8 mm × 24 mm) allow installation in confined spaces and make it suitable for structured cabling environments. The junction box is designed for Cat6a performance, supporting typical Gigabit and higher network needs.

Suitable for

• Extending Cat6a S/UTP network cables without RJ45 plugs
• Repairing damaged cable runs where replacing the full cable is impractical
• Indoor network installations with limited space for connectors

How to use

Prepare the two Cat6a S/UTP cables by stripping the outer sheath to expose the individual conductors and the foil/braid shielding as required for the junction box design. Insert each cable end into the designated side of the junction box following the box’s alignment, ensure the shielding layers are properly positioned to maintain continuity, and secure the cables according to the box’s fastening method. Close the enclosure to protect the connection and verify continuity and network performance after assembly.

Recommendations

Use this junction box for temporary or permanent inline repairs and extensions with Cat6a S/UTP cables. Ensure proper shielding continuity and test the link after installation to confirm expected network speeds. Avoid outdoor installation unless the junction box is placed within protective enclosures suitable for the environment.
