Netværkskabel shiverpeaks BASIC-S Cat7 1 m

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 networking cable is a 1 meter U/FTP (STP) patch cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed for reliable high-speed data transmission, this black Cat7 cable provides enhanced shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Its compact length makes it suitable for short connections between devices in dense setups, wall outlets and patch panels where minimal cable slack is preferred.

Advantages

The U/FTP (STP) construction offers layer-by-layer shielding around each twisted pair, improving signal integrity in environments with high interference. Cat7 performance supports higher frequencies compared to earlier categories, enabling stable throughput for demanding applications. The molded RJ-45 connectors ensure secure connectivity and consistent electrical contact while the 1 m length reduces clutter and maintains tidy cable management.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches and network sockets in home or office setups
• Short patch runs between patch panels and active network hardware
• Applications requiring improved shielding against electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Shielding: U/FTP (overall braid plus individually foiled pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Length: 1 m
• Color: Black
• Suitable frequency range: Up to Cat7 specified frequencies

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your router, switch or wall outlet and the other connector into the target device's Ethernet port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a stable connection. For best results avoid excessive bending near the connector ends and route the cable to avoid running parallel to strong power lines or sources of interference.

Recommendations

Use this 1 m Cat7 cable for short, shielded connections where interference reduction and neat cable management are priorities. For longer runs select an appropriate length while maintaining shielding continuity and proper connector installation.
