Netværkskabeltester DeLOCK 63110

The Delock cable tester allows quick and easy testing of the wiremap of network cables. Test results are displayed clearly on the illuminated LCD display, and the detachable remote unit enables testing of cables already installed in walls or patch panels. The device supports detection of PoE presence and the identification of the wire pairs used by a PoE voltage source. With a compatible load connected, the tester shows real-time measurements of voltage, polarity, current and power.

Advantages

The tester provides a clear illuminated LCD for straightforward interpretation of cable wiring faults and continuity. A removable remote unit makes it possible to test long or installed runs without moving the main unit. Integrated PoE and DC measurement functions give immediate feedback on voltage, polarity and power under load, enabling verification of PoE sources and connected devices.

Key specifications

• Function: wiremap testing for network cables, PoE and DC measurement
• Display: illuminated LCD
• Remote unit: detachable for testing installed cables
• PoE detection: identifies PoE standard and active wire pairs
• Real-time measurement: voltage, polarity, current and power under load

How to use

Connect one end of the network cable to the main unit and the other end to the remote unit, or attach the remote unit at the far end of an installed cable. Power on the tester and read the wiremap result on the illuminated LCD. To measure PoE and DC, connect a compatible load between the tester and the PoE source; the display will show the actual voltage, polarity, current and computed power in real time.

Recommendations

Use appropriate safety precautions when measuring live PoE lines. Verify compatibility of the load with the expected PoE standard and avoid exceeding the rated current of tested cables or connectors.
