Netværksstyringssoftware Lancom 61639 — LANCOM-platform, netværksstyring

Lancom 61639 is network management software designed for the LANCOM platform. It enables centralized administration, configuration and monitoring of LANCOM devices across local and distributed network environments. The software supports device discovery, policy deployment, firmware update management and diagnostic monitoring to help streamline routine administration tasks for IT teams responsible for LANCOM infrastructures.

Advantages

Lancom 61639 centralizes key management functions, reducing the need to access devices individually. It provides a consistent interface for configuration and monitoring, enabling faster deployment of settings and updates. The software includes tools for status visualization and diagnostics, which simplify troubleshooting and reduce resolution time for network incidents. Its integration with LANCOM systems ensures compatibility with device features and firmware update processes.

Suitable for

• IT administrators managing LANCOM-based networks in small to medium-sized enterprises
• Organizations with distributed sites requiring centralized device configuration and monitoring
• Teams that need to schedule and automate firmware updates and configuration rollouts
• Network operations centers performing routine diagnostics and status reporting

Key specifications

• Centralized device discovery and inventory management
• Configuration template and policy deployment support
• Firmware update scheduling and version control
• Real-time device status monitoring and event logging
• Diagnostic tools for connectivity and performance analysis
• Role-based access control for administrative tasks
• Compatibility with LANCOM platform devices and typical network topologies

How to use

Install the Lancom 61639 management software on a server that meets the platform requirements and connect it to the management network where LANCOM devices are reachable. Use the discovery function to populate the device inventory, then create configuration templates and policies that reflect your network standards. Assign templates to devices or groups and schedule firmware updates as needed. Monitor device health and event logs through the dashboard and use diagnostic tools to investigate incidents. Maintain role-based accounts for administrators to control access and track changes.

Recommendations

Maintain regular backups of configuration templates and the device inventory, schedule firmware updates during maintenance windows to minimize user impact, and restrict administrative access according to the principle of least privilege. Regularly review logs and update management software to retain compatibility with the latest device firmware.
