Netværksswitch Cisco Catalyst C9300L-24UXG-4X-E

The Cisco Catalyst C9300L-24UXG-4X-E is a stackable enterprise-class network switch that delivers high-performance connectivity for campus and branch deployments. Designed for modern business environments, it combines 24 fixed user ports with multi-gigabit uplink capacity and software features that simplify management and improve network visibility. The switch supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) to power edge devices and integrates with Cisco DNA center for policy-based automation and analytics.

Advantages

The switch provides high throughput and low-latency switching suitable for converged voice, video and data traffic while offering flexible uplink options for aggregation. Advanced security features protect network access and segment traffic, and built‑in PoE support reduces the need for separate power supplies for connected devices. Integration with Cisco management and automation tools enables centralized configuration, monitoring and policy enforcement across the network.

Suitable for

• Enterprise campus access layer for wired desktops and wireless access points
• Branch office aggregation and secure connectivity for remote sites
• PoE-powered deployments such as IP phones, cameras and wireless access points
• Environments requiring integration with Cisco DNA and centralized network management

Key specifications

• 24 fixed access ports supporting high-performance wired connections
• 10G SFP+ uplink capability for high-speed aggregation and backbone links
• Support for Power over Ethernet to power connected edge devices
• Stackable architecture for simplified scaling and management
• Advanced security and segmentation features including access control and threat mitigation

How to use

Install the Catalyst switch in a standard 19-inch rack using the provided mounting brackets and connect power according to site electrical guidelines. Connect user devices to the access ports and link aggregation or uplink ports to the distribution/core layer using 10G SFP+ modules as required. Use the Cisco IOS XE software interface or Cisco DNA Center for initial configuration, VLAN segmentation, PoE allocation, and policy application. Regularly apply software updates and back up configuration files to maintain network stability.

Recommendations

Place the switch in a temperature-controlled rack environment with adequate ventilation and use redundant power sources where available. Plan PoE budget and port utilization in advance to ensure uninterrupted power to edge devices. Use stacking or link aggregation to provide redundancy and higher throughput for critical uplinks, and enable appropriate security and monitoring features to maintain network integrity.
